At the heart of our golf program is Mark, our Director of Golf. With a mission to make CCC your favorite place to play, Mark serves as the bridge between our membership and our professional staff. By overseeing our daily operations, mentoring our team of instructors, and maintaining the highest standards of play, Mark ensures that the needs of our members always come first. From your first drive to the final putt, Mark’s leadership guarantees a vibrant and welcoming golf community for all ages and skill levels.

Mark played college golf for Furman University; he participated in the 1986 NCAA National Championship. Mark was the Central New York PGA Assistant Professional Champion on numerous occasions and competed in the National Assistants Championship. In 1995 Mark qualified for and played in the final stage of tour school where he earned his Nike tour card for the 1996 season.

Mark began his PGA career at the Cedar Lake Club in 1989 as the Assistant’s Professional. Cedar Lakes is where Mark met his lovely wife, Karen, the mother of his four beautiful children. From Cedar Lakes, Mark moved to Yahnundasis Golf Club in New Hartford, NY (1994-2003) where he worked as Teaching Professional and First Assistant Professional. Mark was elected into membership of the PGA in 1996.

Mark’s PGA career includes multiple Player of the Year honors, most recently 2012, and a 2011 Section Championship. In addition, Mark qualified to represent the Central New York PGA and Cazenovia Country Club in several professional National Championships including a T-40 finish in 2014.

In addition to other awards, Mark’s accolades include 2009 Central New York PGA Merchandiser of the Year.

Mark is highly regarded by his peers, Cazenovia Country Club members and staff.
